It’s time to sign up for an overnight extravaganza at the S.C. State Museum just for Brownies, Juniors, Tiger, Bear, Wolf and Webelos.

Scouts will take action for the environment during the Eco-Explorer Overnight Camp-In at the South Carolina State Museum. Discover ways to help protect our precious planet by reducing, reusing, and recycling. Learn about alternative fuels and other technologies. Come join us and be "environmentally friendly".

FRIDAY CHECK IN Check-in is from 6:30-7:15 p.m. at the main museum entrance. Campers arriving between 6:30 and 7:00 will have FREE time in the museum galleries. Activities will start at 7:15 p.m. with lights out no later than 11:30 p.m.
TAG-ALONGS Tag-alongs are not permitted. The program is for registered children of a specific age-level and their chaperons. Older and younger children are considered tag-alongs.
WHAT TO BRING Sleeping bag or bedroll, pillow and basic toiletries. Adults, please wear a watch and bring a flashlight. All groups will “camp” in designated exhibit spaces.

Please remember the State Museum is not responsible for missing items.

FOOD Evening snack and Saturday morning breakfast will be provided.
MUSEUM ACTIVITIES Friday night activities will be conducted by museum staff. All campers receive a special camp-in patch as a souvenir.
MUSEUM STORE Open on Saturday morning for shopping (optional).
